Dr. Jan Folkert Deinum

Jan Folkert Deinum (Jan Folkert is the full first name) is assisting professor of teacher education and educational ICT consultant at the University of Groningen. He received a Ph.D. from the University of Groningen in 2000. He became an assistant professor in teacher education in 1999. His main task in teacher education is on teaching educational science and supervising teacher trainees in their in-service practice. Since 2007 he is also manager international affairs he is responsible for several international projects, including the JoMiTEinitiative, two capacity building projects in South Africa and an ICT implementation project in Macedonia.
